How to save TikToks and Instagram Reels in one place
Use the Share button in either app and choose Where Next. TikToks and Instagram Reels land in the same collection, where Where Next pulls out the venue, address, category and opening hours and shows everything on one map. It is an iPhone app today, with Android coming soon.
Step by step
- Find something worth saving
Open Instagram or TikTok as you normally would. When a video shows a restaurant, bar, hike or day trip you want to try, that’s your cue.
- Tap Share and choose Where Next
The same two taps work in both apps. If Where Next isn’t in the row, tap More to see the full list.
- Let it sort itself out
Where Next reads the video and fills in the venue, address, category, tags and opening hours. There are no folders to make and nothing to type.
- Browse it as one collection
Everything you saved from both apps sits together, with the original video kept alongside each place. Open the map to see them all in one view.
Where Next is available on iPhone from the App Store. An Android version is coming soon.
Common questions
Do I have to use separate lists for TikTok and Instagram?
No. Videos from both apps go into the same collection, so you search and browse them together.
Does it download or copy the video?
Where Next keeps the original Reel or TikTok attached to each saved place, so you can always go back to what inspired it.
What details does it pull out?
The venue, address, category, tags, description, opening hours and event dates, when the video makes them clear.
